Strategy
Designing an exhibit about noise means a heavy emphasis on the environment, since you can’t rely on objects to generate visual interest. I chose to give each color of noise its own space so that viewers could be enveloped in different abstract “worlds”, and focus their attention on the content.

Result
Each sound bubble has a parametric speaker overhead, meaning viewers can only hear the sound of the noise when standing in the designated space, the middle of the bubble.
